GLOK (live in The Rave Tree) - thursday 23:10 – 00:10

GLOK is the electronic solo project of Andy Bell of shoegaze legends RIDE. He released his debut album Dissident on Ransom Note Records offshoot Bytes last year. The name GLOK is a misspelling of the German word for Bell. The German connection fits well as there is a strong Krautrock influence in the music, which also encompasses synthwave, Detroit techno, John Carpenter soundtracks, dissonant atmospherics and an acid throb.
